KTH Innovation ranks as one of Europe s leading startup hubs. Every year, hundreds of students and researchers come here to test new ideas and build startups. Our alumni include companies like Blykalla, TERASi, Airmee, and SuperAnnotate, as well as founders who have gone on to start companies like Lovable and Neko Health.

If you're interested in the startup world, this is a great opportunity to build a strong network by meeting founders, students, researchers, investors and industry professionals every day.

Your role

As a student employee at KTH Innovation, you will become part of a team of five students. We are currently looking for three people with strengths and perspectives that complement each other.

Together, you will create events and activities for KTH s startup community, both for people who are curious about innovation and those with big ambitions. It could be anything from a fireside chat with an investor to a demo night or something new entirely.

You will work closely with our team, while taking responsibility from concept and marketing to execution and follow-up. You will also contribute to other KTH Innovation events and day-to-day-operations.

You will also:

Keep up with trends and increase our visibility on campus and across Stockholm.
Promote KTH Innovation's offer and attract new people to our community.

It is important that you share our values of inclusion, openness and diversity, and want to create activities where everyone feels welcome.

The position is part-time, often with evening work, and based mainly at Teknikringen 1.

Qualifications

Requirements

Admitted to first, second or third cycle education at a Swedish higher education institution.
A strong interest in startups and innovation
Experience in planning and delivering events, workshops or similar activities
Responsible, attentive and open-minded, with a proactive, creative and solution-oriented approach
High proficiency in English, both spoken and written, as this is required in your daily work

Personal skills

We are looking for people with particularly ability to identify what needs to be done, take initiative and make things happen within a given framework.

We are looking for people with different strengths and experiences, so tell us what you would bring to the team in your cover letter.

Preferred qualifications

Currently studying a Bachelor s or Master s programme or pursuing a PhD at KTH, with at least one year remaining
Good understanding of the startup ecosystem, trends and key players
Experience from similar environments
Good understanding of student life at KTH, preferably through involvement in student associations or similar
Enjoy collaborating and being part of a team
Comfortable with meeting new people and public speaking
Swedish-speaking, as it facilitates the day-to-day work

Great emphasis will be placed on personal skills.
