The Chair of Prof Dr Iris Schneider is looking for a research student assistant (WHB) (f/m/d) for the upcoming term (WS 2026/27), as of January 01, 2027, to assist with research that is currently conducted at the Chair of Social and Organizational Psychology at the University of Cologne. Our research revolves around attitudes, ambivalence, social judgment and the decision-making process (for more information see www.irisschneider.nl).

YOUR TASKS

You will support all stages of the research process, such as:

  • Idea generation
  • Literature review
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Presenting findings in various forms

YOUR PROFILE

  • Good knowledge of English
  • Strong interest in research
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Experience with empirical research, data analyses, and software/coding is an advantage
  • You must be enrolled in a Master s program in Germany
  • Preferably in Management, Psychology, (behavioral) Economics, Sociology or similar study programs
