Opportunity Overview

Position Summary:

Work with the Principal Investigator (PI) to develop and conduct a research project in technical AI safety.

Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of research activities related to technical AI safety.

Co-supervise a group of graduate students and undergraduate research assistants involved in technical AI safety research.

Provide guidance and support to students and research assistants throughout the research project.

Collaborate with the PI and research team to advance the project s research objectives.

Qualifiying skills:

  • Research experience
  • Refereed publications in mathematics and machine learning.

Experience and Education:

  • PhD in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Postdoc experience
  • Experience supervising groups of graduate students in fields such as Artificial intelligence and Mathematics.
