Opportunity Overview

About Hepp

The Higher Education Progression Partnership (Hepp), a partnership of Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield, works across South Yorkshire to encourage more children, young people, and adults to consider higher education opportunities.

We work together with schools, colleges, families and communities to deliver a coherent programme of higher education Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) that supports our region s learners at every stage throughout their educational journey.

The role

The Regional Activities Coordinator plays a key role in delivering Hepp s widening participation programme across South Yorkshire. Acting as the primary contact for target schools across the region, the postholder will build and maintain strong relationships with schools and partners, coordinate the planning and delivery of outreach activity, and ensure programmes are responsive to the needs of local learners and stakeholders.

The role combines stakeholder engagement, event delivery, project coordination and supervision of engagement staff to support informed decision making and, ultimately, progression into higher education for underrepresented groups.

The postholder will be responsible for developing and maintaining a range of operational systems and processes that underpin effective programme delivery, including data management, reporting, communications and evaluation. Working collaboratively across the Hepp team and partner organisations, they will contribute to the development of resources, support projects and events, and help ensure activities are delivered to high quality, ethical and safeguarding standards. The role requires strong organisational skills, proactive relationship management and a commitment to widening participation and educational opportunity.
