Program Manager, Educational Enrichment and Scholarship Services

The Program Manager for Educational Enrichment and Scholarship Services (E2S2) reports to the program director and supports unit leadership in advancing signature programs and services. The role supports student engagement initiatives and expands opportunities administered through the Office of Undergraduate Education (OUE).

The Program Manager designs, implements, oversees, and evaluates programs that promote student success by integrating high impact educational enrichment experiences into students academic and professional experiences. Key responsibilities include collaborating with Housing and Residence Education, Office of Academic Enrichment, the Office of International Affairs, and Buck I Serv to guide living learning communities, to expand experiential learning pathways, to coordinate domestic experiential service and cultural immersion programs.

Essential Duties include:

Educational Enrichment & Signature Program Execution (55%)

Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate signature educational enrichment programs that advance student engagement in high-impact learning, including experiential education pathways, scholarship-connected programming, leadership development opportunities, and collaborative events that enhance academic and professional growth.
Contribute to the design and maintenance of scalable experiential learning pathways (e.g., research, internships, service-learning, and leadership programs) aligned with institutional priorities and student success outcomes.
Contribute to the development and implementation of long-term strategies that strengthen student participation in experiential education and reduce structural barriers to engagement.
Use data and program outcomes to recommend improvement and resource allocation across enrichment initiatives.
Collaborate with unit leadership and campus partners to align enrichment programming with OUE priorities and facilitate program evaluation processes.
Manage and support key programmatic components, including collaborative events with student organizations, peer and alumni mentoring initiatives, and joint programming that integrates enrichment and scholarship engagement.
Contribute to the implementation of signature programs and events such as annual open house programming, welcome initiatives, and other high-impact student engagement experiences.
May instruct an OUE course that emphasizes leadership development or service-learning through experiential learning

Learning Community (LC) Management (20%)

Serve as a liaison between the Office of Undergraduate Education and Student Life, Residence Education on matters related to the Learning Community.
Manages recruitment, marketing, and selection for first- and second-year learning community students.
Plans, coordinates, and executes educational, personal development, and community-building programming (100+ students) in collaboration with Housing & Residence Education, Resident Directors, and Resident Advisors for the Learning Community.
Provides support for Learning Community Resident Advisors.

Partnerships, Outreach & Representation (15%)

Represents E2S2 on university committees, advisory boards, and professional organizations.
Attends/presents at conferences to share insights and integrate best practices.
Establishes partnerships on campus and in the community to expand experiential learning opportunities such as a partnership with Buck-I-Serv on alternative break service trips.
Builds collaborative relationships with academic departments, student support units, employers, and alumni networks.
Develops collaborative relationships across OUE programs to support OUE strategic priorities.

Communications, Reporting & Operational Support (10%)

Manage E2S2 social media platforms and the weekly E2S2 newsletter to support consistent communication, visibility, and engagement with students and stakeholders.
Support strategic communications that highlight student achievements, scholarship successes, high-impact practices, and signature program outcomes.
Develop annual Learning Community and signature program summary reports that document outcomes and guide continuous improvement.
Create and monitor budgets for learning community programming, enrichment programming, and experiential learning initiatives with accuracy and accountability.
Support administrative operations, including assisting with the Student Leadership Council and supervising graduate assistants, work-study students, and student interns as needed.
Assists with the MSP selection process as needed and reads/scores applications.
