As the Instructional & Classroom Support Technician, you will coordinate the implementation of laboratory safety practices for undergraduate instructional laboratories and instructional stockrooms. You will also oversee laboratory preparation activities, equipment and chemical management, safety compliance programs, hazardous waste processes, and instructional laboratories. Other duties will include but are not limited to providing technical and operational support to faculty teaching assistants and student employees, coordinating staffing, training, and laboratory resources, developing and maintaining training programs, and compliance documentation. As well as collaborating with departmental leadership to improve instructional laboratory operations, safety practices, and instructional support services.
