The postholder will manage, process, and analyse magnetic resonance (MR) imaging data for clinical studies in multiple sclerosis (MS), primarily PrecisionMS and FutureMS. The primary responsibilities will include data management, quality checking, running established pipelines and manual segmentation of brain images to assess intracranial volume, white matter lesions, and brain volumes, as well as generating parametric maps for quantitative imaging analysis pipelines. There may also be opportunities to undertake small supervised research projects within the remit of these clinical studies. The postholder will be based in Edinburgh within the MS Imaging and Anne Rowling Clinic teams at the University of Edinburgh, supporting the delivery of imaging outcomes across the Clinic s research portfolio.
To be successful in this role, you will have an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject and experience in basic MRI processing, with a good understanding of neuroanatomy and neuroimaging data.
