TITLE: Data Manager - Total Cancer Care

Scope/Summary:

The Total Cancer Care (TCC) Program is part of the OSUCCC Biospecimen Services Shared Resource (BSSR), which supports basic and clinical researchers conducting translational research by providing dedicated staff for the procurement, processing, storage, and shipment of research specimens and annotated clinical data critical to cancer research. TCC is also part of the Oncology Research Information Exchange Network (ORIEN), a national collaborative consortium of cancer centers established for the purpose of building a large-scale repository of biospecimens and associated clinical and genomic data to support, enhance, and accelerate research activities across the country.

The TCC Data Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Total Cancer Care (TCC) program by ensuring high-quality data, compliant research processes, and effective cross-team collaboration, directly contributing to impactful cancer research. This role oversees clinical and biospecimen data management, supports research administration, and maintains data integrity across studies. It combines data coordination, electronic data capture management, and qualitative research support to ensure efficient and compliant study execution. In addition, the Data Manager analyzes and improves operational workflows, provides strategic guidance to enhance data management practices, and supervises staff. The position fosters collaboration and upholds high standards of service for both internal and external stakeholders to support successful research outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Health Sciences, Computer Science or relevant field. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
