Requirements and Nature of Work:

Nature of Work

Junior NMR Technician: NMR core facility technician to assist the NMR lab with cryogen fills, solid-state NMR sample analysis, and external solution NMR sample analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bilingual (french & english)
  • A firm understanding of the fundamental principles of fourier transform NMR spectroscopy
  • 1 year of experience with solid-state NMR
  • 1 year of experience with solution NMR

Physical strength to move a 180 L dewar of liquid nitrogen up and down access ramps
