Teaching Qualification Requirements:

Education

  • Graduate studies (completed PhD preferred) in microbiology, environmental microbiology, or a related field.

Experience

  • Expertise in some or all of the following: environmental microbiology, molecular microbial ecology, microbial environmental genomics /metagenomics, bioinformatics.
  • Prior teaching experience is an asset.

  • Course: 3 credits
  • The course will be delivered in person.
  • Course Lecturer contract amount: $11,824.00

Note: The McGill exam sessions take place over two weeks after the end of classes, and Course Lecturers are expected to be available on the day of a scheduled final exam and are required to grade final exams as part of their contract.
