With our success in establishing a marine sciences research portfolio, GMGI is now poised to expand its research profile with a focus on applied marine science and translational opportunities in complementary areas of research such as immunology, biotechnology, neuroscience, cancer biology, bioinformatics and related fields.

GMGI combines this thriving research institute with an innovative workforce training program Gloucester Biotechnology Academy that trains recent high school graduates for successful careers as life sciences lab technicians.
