Job Description:

Provides administrative and program support for the College of Health Sciences with emphasis on clinical processes, purchasing and grant-related activities, student and/or program documentation, and College operations. Assists the Dean, administrative staff, program directors, and faculty by supporting program activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • 25% Assists Health Sciences programs with administrative processes associated with clinical education. Assists with affiliation documentation.
  • 25% Maintains records of grant purchases and expenditures. Assists with compiling documentation for grant reporting. Assists with College purchasing and expenditures, including supplies, equipment, and grant-funded purchases
  • 15% Assists with selection records and documentation, accreditation records, advisory committee documentation, surveys, and other program requirements.
  • 15% Provides administrative support for college operations and assists the Dean, administrative staff, program directors, and faculty with routine administrative processes. Prepares documents, maintains files, assists with meetings, responds to routine inquiries and refers matters to appropriate personnel.
  • 15% Assists with inventory, equipment documentation, receipt of purchases, and documentation for grant-funded equipment and purchases.
  • 5% Performs other related duties and assists with special projects in support of the College of Health Sciences as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in business, office administration, healthcare, allied health, or a related field.
  • 2 years Administrative, office, program, healthcare, or related support experience demonstrating accurate recordkeeping, organization, confidentiality, communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business, office administration, healthcare, allied health, or a related field preferred.
  • 3 years preferred Experience in higher education, healthcare, clinical education support, purchasing, grant-funded activities, or academic program support. Experience with documentation, purchasing systems, spreadsheets, databases, or institutional information systems preferred.
