Eligibility

Master's degree in didactics of French as a second language or a relevant field.
Two years of experience teaching French as a Second Language at the university level, or equivalent.
Familiarity with relevant software and technology for teaching French as a Second Language courses.
Knowledge of immersion pedagogy demonstrated by CV.

Course Description:

Cours de fran ais langue seconde associ un cours de 3 cr dits dans une discipline donn e (HSS 1501), suivi en fran ais par des tudiants non francophones. L'objectif est de d velopper les capacit s de compr hension en langue seconde ( coute et lecture) et d'aider l' tudiant bien assimiler la mati re de la discipline. Les r ponses aux questions d'examen peuvent tre fournies en anglais ou en fran ais dans le cours de la discipline, en fran ais seulement dans le cours de langue.

En plus d enseigner le cours de langue, le professeur FLS doit suivre le cours de discipline :

Requirements:

Maitrise en didactique du fran ais langue seconde ou dans un domaine pertinent l enseignement du fran ais langue seconde. Deux ans d exp rience de l enseignement du FLS au niveau universitaire, ou quivalent. Familiarit avec des logiciels et la technologie pertinente pour l enseignement des cours de fran ais langue seconde. Connaissance de la p dagogie d immersion d montr e par le CV. Tout professeur ayant enseign un cours FLS/ESL l'ILOB avant le 1er janvier 2018 est consid r comme r pondant l'exigence de dipl me.
